South of the Gnat Line On this sunny November day, I've been sweeping the front porch while listening to the roosters crowing out in the chicken yard, our farmhouse cat *Whiskey* calling me from the back porch, the birds twittering about in the crunchy fall leaves and the rushing waters of the creek as it spills over the rocky rapids below the house.......much to be thankful for.

South of the Gnat Line Jake has officially reached level one of his farm pup status! Beautiful day in the Deep South and we've been outside enjoying it all day!! Chores, geese in the pond, watching our neighbors baling hay in the pastures across from us.....God is good!

Stefan and I were in Germany traveling. We went to an highway rest area and there were no toilets just a hole and two bars to hold on to... What a culture shock...I decided not to use this rest area...
