www.theblindsidemovie.com "BLIND SIDE" is the film adaptation of the best-selling non-fiction football book by Michael Lewis (also the author of "Moneyball"). The film focuses on MICHAEL OHER, who was an All-America and All-SEC tackle at Ole Miss before being drafted in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Ba...ltimore Ravens. Oher was essentially a homeless youngster living on his own in Memphis who was subsequently given a home by the Tuohys, a middle-class family in Memphis. Because Oher was heavily recruited by many universities before he subsequently accepted a football scholarship from Ole Miss, many of the real-life SEC coaches who recruited him portray themselves in the film. "BLIND SIDE" is directed by JOHN LEE HANCOCK (director of "The Rookie," the baseball film that starred Dennis Quaid) who also wrote the screenplay. "BLIND SIDE"stars SANDRA BULLOCK and TIM McGRAW and others, and is being released nationally on November 20.Read More
