The annual All-South Honor Band at Southern Miss offers students contact with outstanding ensemble clinicians as well as performing repertoire that they otherwise may not get to perform in their high school band programs.

Ensemble rehearsals ...focus on fundamental musicianship and technique, and they provide a nurturing atmosphere for the advancing high school musician.

High school seniors will also be given the chance to audition for the applied professor of their instrument for college scholarships to The University of Southern Mississippi's School of Music.

-Denton Stokes, Director, Robinson Secondary School, Fairfax, Virginia

-Dr. Timothy Rhea, Director of Bands, Texas A&M University
