“An Evening in Provence” honors two noted philanthropists and long-time supporters of the Southwest School of Art & Craft, Governor Dolph Briscoe, Jr. and Mrs. Edith S. McAllister. The art school’s historic Ursuline gardens will take on the vibrant style of France’s storied Provence region on Thursday, October 1, fr...om 6:30 to 11PM. Club Giraud will again present superb cuisine under the stars. The evening’s Art Sale will present many exceptional works of art, donated by noted local, regional, national and international artists in support of the school. These works will also be available for viewing and purchase during the Art Sale Preview on Wednesday, September 30, 5:30 to 7:30PM, at an exclusive showing for Gala patrons and raffle ticket buyers. With a limited number of only 350 tickets, this year’s raffle contains a tempting array of items. Raffle tickets are available to be purchased by anyone, not just those attending the Gala in the Garden.
