Spacewallpapers.net A similar flash to the Utah meteor was seen over the skies of South Africa on Saturday. Looks like the Earth is heading into a meteor rich area, perhaps linked to the Leonid meteor shower.

Hopefully in our lifetimes a lucky few will have the opportunity to see the sight for themselves from the first Lunar base.
