The MSU Alumni Band provides an opportunity for band alumni - young and old - to join together in musical performances and commaraderie reflective of the spirit of the MSU Bands.
Spartan Marching Band The seniors thought long and hard to come up with the show representing their best times in the SMB. They chose the opener from our Queen show that featured a medley of Fat Bottomed Girls from the 1978 album Jazz, and Bohemian Rhapsody from the 1975 album A Night at the Opera. The second tune chosen is Spiderwebs, a 1995 song from No Doubt's album Tragic Kingdom.
Spartan Marching Band The Penn State game will be the last time the class of 2010 will take the field as members of the SMB. We hope their affiliation with our alumni band will be long, but this day serves as an important milestone in the students' SMB career. Our tradition dictates that the senior class chooses tunes (for the last game hal...ftime show) that were favorites during their time in the SMB.
