Renae

Renae "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" -Spearfish Arts Center is pleased to announce the holiday production, “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” directed by Janet Higbee. Performances will be in the Matthews Opera House on Fridays and Saturdays December 4, 5, 11 and 12 at 7:30 pm and Sundays December 6 and 13 at 2 p.m. Ticket...s are $10.00 and will be available starting November 16th at The Gallery or can be purchased at the door.
The hilarious story concerns the efforts of a woman and her husband to put on the annual church Christmas pageant despite having to cast the Herdmans, the worst kids in the history of the world. They lie, steal, and smoke cigars (even the girls). When they take over the church play, everyone wonders if this will be the best Christmas pageant ever, or just the most memorable.
This American Classic is one of the best Christmas stories ever and certainly one of the funniest!

I want to clarify, as a chamber employee, we do not organize the Corvette Classic. It is organized by the Sioux Falls Corvette Club as a convention in Spearfish. Also, the economic impact, after applying the multiplier factor, is $1.5 million to the local economy. This kind of stimulus is much needed in todays economy.
