Unfortunately you've now missed the chance to join the 19th Oct Dalyan gang (see discussion board above) but we have now added an extra Dalyan date departing 3rd Nov for 7 nights to make up for it. See www.speedbreaks.co.uk/turkey.cfm

Why you shouldn't be worried about going away on your own!

We recently asked people (in a poll) what was preventing them from booking on of our holidays. The top reason given by 24 percent of people for not booking one of our holidays was 'Worried about going away on my own'. So here are ten reasons why you don't need to be.

1.You're not on your own. You're travelling with a bunch of people you haven't met before some of whom who will be your friends by the end of the trip!
2. Virtually everyone else is on their own too! In our experience about 80 percent of our customers come on their own.
3. All our trips have a SpeedBreaks host or local representative. They're much more than just a holiday rep and are there to ensure you all have a great time!
4. Normally on the first night we'll do a seating plan for dinner to mix everyone up & ensure you get to meet everyone.
5. On virtually all our trips we offer twin room options (generally for a lower cost). Although understandably some people prefer their own rooms we find a lot of people get on really well with their room mates.
6. Activities are a great way of getting to know people. It's no coincidence that for years companies have used these types of activities as team building exercises.
7. Holidays have a way of compressing experiences. By the end of the week you'll feel you've known some people for years!
8. Our holidays are always pretty sociable. We'll always make sure that the resorts we use have some nightlife. Often our customers will find a favourite bar & hang out there during their holiday.
9. You can use our Facebook page to get in touch with people before the trip
10. We send out SpeedBreaks luggage labels with all our itineraries. Put one on your suitcase & you'll probably meet one or two people in the airport on your way out (even though we don't normally arrange a formal meeting point at UK airports).
