Spike Island
Following on from Spike Island's first ever Artists' Book & Zine Fair in 2008, the event is back by popular demand, programmed by artist and Spike Associate Sovay Berriman. The fair will be showcasing both homegrown talent (Here Shop, InterCity Mainline, Bristol Diving School, Spike Associates) and self-published work ...from around the UK. The event is generously supported by Alias.
Come along to browse, buy and meet like minded people then stay on for music in the Spike Cafe ahead of your Halloween night out.
A series of afternoon talks are also being planned in connection with Spike Island's ART + WRITING strand - details will be added to the website soon along with more stalls.

Spike Island Kayle Brandon's publication now launched - limited supply & mainly distributed by booking a Dad's Cab cab with a few copies also available from Spike Island for those not travelling round North Bristol. Family workshops also coming up on Saturday with special guest star artist.

As part of Spike in the City, Bristol based artist Kayle Brandon has undertaken a self initiated residency at inner-city taxi rank 'Dads Cabs' based in the parish of St Paul's.
