http://www.prager-dreifuss.com - What started out with a typical briefing and winning the pitch round, quickly became the opportunity to blend our philosophy for design, usability and technology with a very different universe; the world of legal affairs.

Usually, lawyer web sites are incredibly boring, with visuals feat...uring paragraph icons, reception flowers or corporate buildings, random photographs of the employees and poorly laid out text about taxation procedures.

Too often design is ignored as a crucial parameter for influencing people’s decisions and sustaining an image of progress, extroversion and awareness.

Our strategy for the project was to avoid avoidable complexity, keep the templates simple, add a nice visual look and feel, and on top focus on logical functionalities and clean structure.

We were supplied with astounding photographic material by the client and added a small tweak to the cut-out’s; more specifically, a thin, white line in the left side to level out the weighting.

http://www.stromzukunft.ch - The number of electrical devices in Western homes is increasing and although these devices are becoming more efficient, the overall electrical consumption is rising and the level of CO2 exhaustion is similarly keeping the pace.

Now, this is bad news. Let us introduce the project initiator.

Th...e VSE (Verband Schweizerischer Elektrizitätsunternehmen) works as the umbrella organization for Swiss electricity companies. It advocates for a solid base for the electricity industry to leverage reliable power supply, informs the public about issues in the electricity industry, and provides members with numerous services.

They launched Stromzukunft (translates to ‘Future of Electricity’) to increase the general awareness and knowledge level of the entire population when it comes to consumption of electricity. Eventually, this should have a positive impact on the challenges facing private energy consumption.

THE SOLUTION

In collaboration with Prime (communication agency), Liip (web development) and Ala (front-end design), Spoiled Milk was brought in to develop the Stromzukunft game – an interactive gaming experience, in which the user for a limited amount of time is requested to administer the electrical consumption in an entire house.

Three parameters determine your success: The happiness of the residents, the exhaustion of CO2 and the consumption of electricity. Success has to be reached given only a limited budget of 125’000.

Charming, simple and iconic graphics frame the fun gaming experience, which was developed in AS3 and mxml with Flex 3.

This new PopScan® online showroom now has a range of great new features including a product to...ur, an extended product feature guide, customer case stories and more. All of this is administered by our Casein CMS which makes the client able to edit all languages and site modules on the website with ease.

This innovative, hands-on partnership has invented its own particular language, in which strong images come across as a synthesis between sound and movement. Absurd, poetic and in aw...e to humanity, this duo has a mission.

Our job was to team up with the talented designer Bastien Aubry of Flag to assist Zimmermann & de Perrot in spreading public awareness of their unique art form.

We provided consultancy on how to structure Zimmermann & de Perrot’s huge amounts of content and subsequently built the site using our in-house developed Casein CMS.Read More

http://tvdemo.swisscom.ch - Leading Swiss telecoms provider launching online campaign supported by Spoiled Milk to focus on Bluewin TV boxes.

The main idea of the campaign was to transcend a simulated experience of being seated in a sofa surrounded by a couple of friends with the many options of the Bluewin TV box at yo...ur disposal.

Technically, the solution was approached using POV Video integrated in the open-source, real-time 3D engine Papervision for ActionScript.

Conceptual, design and film-related phases were completed by the Zurich-based agency atfront. Spoiled Milk was responsible for the ActionScript development – or in other words: Ensuring the website user a smooth and memorable experience.Read More

Once upon a time Spoiled Milk was based in a half abandoned house near a railway track in Copenhagen. It was here that we cut our teeth by making short films, painting murals, designing record covers, programming websites, and generally building things from scrap paper and cardboard. Casper even worked on a 15" CRT.
