So glad that this is now available through Facebook. I have received excellent information from Chris et alia, from the SAA website..... My daughter has been suffering from AS now for approx 6 1/2 years, with absolutely no relief ! She will be 25 this year. She has had surgery and has been on probably every medicat……ion there is for this disease. (They all seem to work pretty good to start; Remicade, Enbrel, Humira.... then they stop working.....) She is now on Orencia. I'm wondering if anyone has some info to share about this medication. I don't know how she (or anyone else, who suffers from AS) deals with this everyday.（更多内容）

Amanda Parker Unrein Had my first Remicade infusion the other day. The nurse said it could take up to 5 treatments before I notice anything :-( Is there a fast forward button on that please?? LOL

I was told I had AS 21 years ago this month when I lived in Canada... I was told to learn to live with it.. was given naproxen and eventually Soma for the muscle pain and unbearable spasms no physio.. drugs drugs drugs... I found out after a nasty round of Iritis... I just married last year and moved to Germany, my awe……some wife took me to some German Dr.'s who had me hospitalized for 4 days... I just had my first injection of Humira and cross my fingers.. the Physio was super and the treament in Wiesbaden was AWWWWWWWWWWESOME... Hope it works ... getting tired of walking around like Quasi Motto.. lol（更多内容）

Krissi Coney Hi! My 8yr old son was diagnosed with AS last month. They have him on naproxen twice a day and physical therapy twice a week until we meet with the rheumy team to work out a full plan. Anyone have kids with AS? He hates the excersices, but loves to be active. Any ideas on how to make things feel more fun or how to not let him just give up?

Has somebody had bruises on the skin, because the pain is very bad and your blood vessels break, I had one las week I went with my reuma, and my sciatica pain was so nasty she gave a med pack of steroids and 1 hr later I saw her, Oh GOSH!!! I had this big bump on my stomach, it was a blood vessel that was breaking for the pain

Janice Moore I'm considering getting a recumbent exercise bike. Anyone have input? I've been an avid treadmill user for years, but increasing heel & hip issues are making that more and more difficult. thanks!

Amanda Parker Unrein My insurance FINALLY approved my Remicade treatments!!! I am SOOOOO happy right now! I can't wait for some pain relief :-)
