The great Spreckels Organ in Balboa Park is the world's largest outdoor pipe organ. The Spreckels Organ Society, along with the City of San Diego, produces free year-round concerts on the Spreckels Organ by world-class organists.

Spreckels Organ Society In addition to Sunday's 2PM concert with Dr. Carol Williams and the two Spreckels Scholarship Winners, Jared Jacobsen will be performing at the console of the Spreckels Organ during the Annual Community Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion Saturday, 28 November 2009, between 4:30PM and 6:30P...M. Jared is expected to start his portion of this free musical event around 5:30PM.

It features the commissioned work of Karl Jenkins “The
Madness of Morion” and other works such as “The Dance of the Hours”
by Ponchielli; “Gymnopedie No 1” of Erik Satie; “Alligator
Crawl” by Fats Waller; “The Hebrew C...horus” by Verdi and the
famous “Toccata” by Widor.
Recorded on the fabulous organ of St. Martin’s Church,
Dudelange, Luxembourg.
