It takes a couple of hours to post a schedule because we add some value by including it in the master schedule (which is more popular than the individual team pages, by far) and verifying on other team pages (MLB.com has a terrible record when it comes to accuracy, so we work directly from info sent by teams).

No. The schedules clash. This is the ninth time we've received clashing schedules this spring (yes, we're counting). We can safely say the Red Sox will be at home: last year there was an uproar when the Red Sox played the Yanks in Tampa on St. Patty's Day. The best guess is that it will be the Blue Jays and that we were given older information by someone in the Mets front office.

I know someone who plays in Japan, they won't ever bring a team to the US for spring training as the timings are all wrong. Although it would be great to see a team in the Cactus league! Arizona IS the place to be !! Sorry Florida - your fields are old, Arizona is a great place to see spring ball and easy to see games without driving far.

Al Lang Field has been targeted for redevelopment for some time now. The Rays didn't particularly want to stay, and neither did the city. It worked out best for both.

Evan: they actually came close this spring. Three teams had some intense discussions with a group representing Tucson. The timing isn't perfect, but it's close enough where there were serious discussions.
