DPZoo staff and docents will present an eagle program featuring Phoenix, the bald eagle, and Aquila, the golden eagle, during "Eagle Days" at Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge. The program will begin every hour, with the last program beginning at 3 p.m.

Dickerson Park Zoo hosted it first Veterans Day celebration. The Hillcrest High School JROTC color guard did a presentation of the colors with the high school's choir leading the National Anthem. Zoo docents presented an eagle program featuring "Phoenix," the bald eagle, and "Aquila," the golden eagle.
Thank you to all veterans and active military personnel for your service and sacrifice.

The choir from Hillcrest High School will begin the festivities by singing the “National Anthem.” The highlight of the program will be a presentation by zoo staff and volunteers featuring the zoo’s bald eagle Phoenix and golden eagle Aquila.
Veterans receive free zoo admission on Nov. 11.
