Missouri State Army ROTC

I wasn't in the Army, but the Marine Corps 1961-1963, attached to the US Navy Security Group, stationed on an Army base on Okinawa. Enjoyed my year tour there.

I enjoyed the strange language, and the interesting foods. Did you know in some strange corners of the world they put cole slaw on hot dogs? Yes, the only foreign country the army took me to was North Carolina.

I never left the states during my eight years in the Army Reserve. All of my active duty assignments were to either Ft. Riley or Ft.Knox.
