It’s the first day of this new year…two thousand ten, or twenty-ten…or ten as I intend to call it. I guess that sounds okay when I flash-forward and imagine a sentence going something like, “Hey, remember that time back in 10?” Raise your hands if you make resolutions. Keep ‘em...

As seen in Kmart (and snapped by my co-worker Amanda): It’s one thing to promote your sale prices, but to show customers a price they missed out on? Well, that’s just mean Hey, we’ve all had bad days on the job!

At least that’s what I’m calling 22 foot waves.St. Thomas North-facing beaches and low-lying lands could be flooded, especially coupled with high tides over the next couple of days. High tides are 1.3 feet at 7:21 a.m. today and 1.4 feet at 8:06 a.m. Tuesday. T...

I'm glad a "local" weatherman didn't buy into this crap!!!! LOL!!! Went to Peterborg last night with Carlee hoping to take some great photo's and saw nothing bigger than an above average, but normal for this time of year, swell. Pillsbury Sound, you can skip a rock over to St. John and Hull Bay was almost anti-climactic last night. 22 footers? In their dreams!!!

A few weeks ago Nicci and I had our first bout with racism here on St. Thomas. Our story goes like this… We parked in Mencia’s Parking lot, the lot above Marina Market in Red Hook. The published rate says $10 but they always give us a local rate of $5. We know this because Nicci used ...

Sometimes is just seems like it will never stop. But coming from such people, it's just a disgrace. This surely doesn't look good for visitors OR locals. :(

We just got back last night from St. Thomas, most of the locals are kind and hospitable but ran into some nastiness at the Food Center in Red Hook, actually my husband told them they weren't nice and we wouldn't be back. With this incident it was more hostile than racist I suppose.

I had wanted to see if the two of you have ever gone over to Smugglers Cove in Tortola, the locals there were amazing it was the best day of our vacation....Happy New Year
