RECENT ACTIVITY

Coral World Ocean Park Today there is an article in the VI Daily News about the nests. Department of Planning and Natural Resources' Division of Fish and Wildlife and Coral World biologists excavated the nest at Lindbergh Bay that had failed to hatch. They found the nest and 64 completely undeveloped eggs.

Coral World Ocean Park There still hasn't been any action at either of our leatherback nests but we will keep everyone posted!

Coral World Ocean Park Although the nest hasn't hatched, we still had a pretty eventful afternoon at Brewers yesterday. We spotted a baby green sea turtle hanging around the shallow waters for a while, and two dolphins that played in the bay for at least an hour!

Coral World Ocean Park Still no activity from the baby turtles but it's been great getting to meet people who are interested in what's going on and want to learn more about sea turtles!

Coral World Ocean Park Don't forget, the special $2 rate for locals is being extended for Labor Day! Come to Coral World and enjoy your day off with the sharks, turtles, sea lions and more!
