Hi Stacey
I've been a fan of yours for years. I've made two trips to Europe in the last six or seven years all the way from New Zealand! and each time I was in London I saw you play at Ronnie Scotts. Such an amazing venue.
The first time there a Buddy Rich tribute band was also playing that night. The last time was on the 25th April of this year - an emotional night - and well, I just thought you were absolutely brilliant.

From memory you closed with "One for my baby" which I thought was touching given the circumstances and I'd just like to say that you sang it beautifully. I just have the utmost admiration for you.

On a personal note, "Under a Blanket of Blue" is my favourite song that you sing. Your timing and phrasing are incredible. The greats like Ella would be proud.

Anyway I wish you all the best which you undoubtedly deserve. This is a longshot, but I'd love to hear you play in NZ one day. Take care!

Hi Stacey,

First heard your album "the boy next door" while shopping for a CD shelf couple years back. Ended up not buying the shelf, but went to get your album immediately instead :-) which of cos turned out to be oh-so-brilliant. Just got "breakfast on morning tram" this afternoon, and it is indeed an inspiring piece of work... all the best in your work and life!!

Best Regards (from sunny Singapore),
Edwin Yip

Hi, Stacey!

I checked out your album "The Boy Next Door" from the library a couple of weeks ago. I chose it because I love Frank Sinatra and I thought I recognized the title of the song, or it sounded familiar at least. I wondered how it would sound sung by a woman, and how well.

I am very happy to say that your form of interpretation touched me. The second I hear you sing that song I was just grinning and without even knowing why! I'm listening to that song right now.

This CD is going in my "Urgent CD Purchases to Make" list. I'll make my dad listen to you. I just know he'll love you, too!

I wish all the best to you in your personal life and career, and be sure you have one loyal fan in me from now on (about 10 minutes ago, LOL)!

Love,
Florencia.
