Stargate Worlds At Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment, we have always been upfront with the media and our fans that we are a start up. Like many start ups, we face the same cash-flow issues that all pre-revenue companies face. We have maintained a core of dedicated investors, but the new economic realities are forcing us to seek out addi...tional sources of funding and that's what we're doing.

We continue to move forward on the Stargate Worlds project. We recently completed a successful phase of closed beta testing and we will start a second phase early in 2009. We invite all of your readers to come to our site, check out our fantastic community and sign up for our beta.

@Daisy: I... See More’m sorry if my comment sounded “mean”, I wasn’t trying to be. But I still think my question is valid. Why MGM would sell the MMO rights to the SG IP to an unknown and untested company like CM it just confusing. Maybe the bigger production houses like Cryptic or *shudder* SOE weren’t interested or too busy with other projects. The company clearly was having financial problems before. And the fact that the Facebook page and their website as well haven’t been updated in practically a year are testaments to this company just not being the right choice. Of course they could post an announcement the game will go live on ‘insert date here’ any day but I don’t see that happening.
'Course all that having been said...at least the SG:W website's updates a couple times recently. But the Oct. and Nov. news updates were a little bit of nothing.
