Hello again! More good news about two of Filmaka's filmmakers: Zack Resnicoff and Sonny Calderon. They are the first winners of our Ford "Mustang Stories" competition. Zack and Sonny will introduce their winning film "Numskull" inside a commercial in the premiere of NBC's KNIGHT RIDER, September 24. More winners will be announced in the coming days. The film can then be seen in its entirety on www.the2010mustang.com Congrats, guys!
Starlet Born and raised in Los Angeles, Matthew LeVine began his career working on music videos for such artists as: Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte and Audioslave. From there, he moved to New Regency Productions where he worked on the highly successful, animated project ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS as well as the upcoming Alex Aja thriller MIRRORS. After leaving New Regency, Matthew jumped ship to SONY ANIMATION where he is currently developing CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS and the long awaited, live action/CGI adaptation of THE SMURFS. Matthew also co-wrote TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE REHAB with his NOWO media partner Noah Harald, to which the two were nominated for an MTV Movie Award last June. Matthew has high hopes for his latest project “STARLET” and in his free time enjoys poetry, a glass of tequila and all things silly.
Starlet Noah Harald is a director born and raised in Northern California, who migrated to Los Angeles to attend USC and Los Angeles Film School. An award-winning filmmaker, Noah has had quite a bit of success for his age in the film industry. An independent DV feature entitled "Stalemate," that he wrote and directed won him the 'Rising Star Award' at the 2002 Hollywood Underground Film Festival. Noah also directed a short, "Sweet Judy Blue Eyes," which won the best screenplay award at The Beverly Hills Film Festival. Noah was nominated for an MTV movie award at the 2007 ceremony and is also a current finalist in the Filmaka.com feature development contest. Production has also been completed on the first 5 episodes of his series "Starlet," comissioned by and concieved for Filmaka, and co-written and produced by Matthew LeVine. Noah is incredibly excited to move forward into the next phase of his career with a company that is so interested in pushing the envelope on new media and nurturing undiscovered talent.
