The Detroit Free Press recently published a story (Video Psychiatry takes hold in state, Nov. 15, 2009) that estimates about half-a-million children across the state of Michigan are in need of help but there are only about 200 child psychiatrists available.

Those were the days when it was called Starr Commonwealth for Boys. By the looks of these pictures the school certainly has grown.

Just look at these leaves and I am remined of the valley near Mendelssohn where as a young lad there seemed to be so many and it was so very deep and deeper. This is way before leaf blowers, when you used a rake and hopefully had gloves. The Albion Campus is just as beautiful today as it was in the early 60's. Uncle Floyd's presence still permeates the campus.
