Greetings everyone! As anticipated, the State of the Black World Conference was wonderful, especially in terms of the quality of attendees and the wisdom and knowledge they shared!
A few announcements:
1. The SOBWC Town Hall Meeting moderated by Bev Smith and Mark Matsimela Thompson, with Ron Daniels, Iva Carruthers, Ju...lianne Malveaux, Ron Walters, Mtangilizi Sanyika, Faya Rose Sanders and more will be aired on C-SPAN this Sunday, Nov. 30, at 3pm.

Hi Everyone! I learn more and more about Facebook everyday! Please do let everyone know this event is happening. We've been promoting for a while; but you know the Presidential election was center stage for quite some time. So, in the words of the illustrious Hip Hopper, Heavy D, "Now that we've found love, what are we... gonna do . . . with it?" Barack is in the White House (almost) . . . but what are YOUR plans? What will be the State of YOUR Black World?
Tell us what you want to focus on. What do you want us to talk about? Our Conference will be covered by C-SPAN, by the way.
