One person is dead and two people have been injured in a shooting Saturday night at the Sandbar in West Vail, Vail Police Chief Dwight Henniger said. The town of Vail has identified the suspect as Richard Moreau, 63, of Vail. Moreau is being held in the town of Vail's jail.
