Khalid Projectsynthetic hi... im using a nord modular G2 and its synced to cubase via midi.. but the incoming signal has latency.. even though im working on 128 samples even at 96k i can notice it.. do i need to adjust for record latency? whats the best way to go about that?

Steven Im running Windows 7 64bit. All audio cards I have tried have a I/O driver issues. Mainly the In ports on the M-Audio delta 2496. I also tried Native Instruments Audio Kontrol 1. Same issue with the In Ports. I cant record audio. Im hoping the coming patch scheduled for december is the fix.

I have a multi-part problem.I am told I can only be given support as a registered user however the licence control center will not work, just says it has "stopped responding" meaning I am unable to provide the eLicence, and go through support request.This has left me completely stuck with no one I can contact. I purcha...sed a new midi-controller keyboard, this came with Cubase LE4, I uninstalled my previous version of LE, thinking it may corrupt the new installation. The installation went fine but when a tried to start the program it would crash. I read on online support forums that the version I had was not compatible with 64-bit vista, but that there was an upgrade.I downloaded the patch 4.1.2.851 and tried to run it however, it would not install and insisted that I did not have Cubase LE installed on my computer. Theres nothing I can do and no-one wants to help me!!!Read More

Angela Neal I Have a tascam 144 and it came with cubase about 3 years ago ...i think My old pc crashede hard with many viruses cant even get on hard drive anymore i need to find out how i can install cubase le on my new pc with out the cd sleeve its been quite some time???

I use to use Cubase Le and I don't think you need anything to install it (if my memory serves me correct). Also, your OLD pc is still some good. It just needs a formatting of the hard drive and a clean install of an OS. Keep in mind, if you had a virus problem before, it'll show it's ugly head again, if the same habits are in operation. In other ... Read Morewords, you want a PC that is NOT connected to the internet to be your PC of choice. Trust me on this one.....it'll run much better and be very dependable.

Hiam new to setting things up from scratch just set up all me gear :) using Cubase 5 :) Ihave a M-audio profire 610 that seems to link up nicely to cubase -earlier today I had trouble getting playback so i set up all the deviceand VST conections - all inputs and out puts I need are active now and i get play back YAY- ...however I now cannot record where as earlier I could- Any suggestions folks? I don't work for them, but I have seen the video (I didn't actually need to....just on a Cubase 5 HIGH). The video is called Ask Cubase 5 Level 1. And it will help you. Just google ASK Video and you'll have the url.

Nathalie about windows 7: did someone try his cubase 5 with windows 7? how does it work? it seems steinberg cannot say anything today and we will have to wait several months to have an official answer...i can't stand vista anymore.
