The grandson of Japanese immigrants, Ronald T. Takaki was an activist as well as a scholar. Friends- We won! As of late yesterday, we received 87,605 votes, securing us a seat on the San Francisco Community College Board! Though the Elections Department is still counting votes, there are now not enough left to overcome our lead that widened from 278 votes to 4,283 over the past 14 days...
