Charlene McCombs I've just completed a Hairpin Lace baby blanket and the instructions say that I have to create a border with single crochet along the ends where the strips meet - anyone have any suggestion how to do this properly - mine came out looking like scalloping

Watch your gauge and number of stitches. If it flares: you are using too many stitches or else you need to go down a hook size or two. Keep experimenting with hook and stitches until it lies flat.

Sabrina Clark I am (eventually) going to try to make the Crochet Corset that they have at SDS. It requires me to use Rigilene boning, but I would rather use Spiral Steel Boning to make it more ridged. Any comments on weather I should or not? Any suggestions?

Also - I find that it is a good idea to make the corset small esp. if using the featured yarn. The yarn stretches with wear. You can always have a side lacing space, but if the corset is so large that the ends overlap, you are kind of out of luck...

Of course! I am planning on making the 28 inch waist one. My waist is 30 inches so I figure the 28 would be appropriate.
