Illustrator Peter de Sève, creator of the "Ice Age" movie characters, returns to Norman Rockwell Museum with an exhibition of original art from his new book "The Duchess of Whimsy: An Absolutely Delicious Fairy Tale." Written by his wife Randall, "The Duchess of Whimsy" is his first children's book, and follows the tal...e of the beautiful and eccentric Duchess and the very plain and simple Earl who adores her.

The exhibition is currently on view, and the de Sèves will appear at the Museum on Saturday, November 28, for a reading of their new book, discussion of the creative process, and book-signing- don't miss it!

Norman Rockwell Museum “The girl I am most interested in painting is the unaffected natural American type, the girl that likes to coast and skate in winter, who often goes without her hat, and who gets a thrill out of tramping over country roads in the fall.”
