      Services are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory in Midland. A visitation is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, and the service is planned for 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Stonegate Fellowship, 6000 W. Wadley Ave.

      Stonegate Fellowship Church The staff and church family of Stonegate Fellowship are mourning the loss of one of our team members. Karah Brooks, our student ministry staff assistant, was killed in a boating accident on Lake LBJ late Saturday night. Another staff member, Mickala Murdock, was injured in that accident and is recovering in an Austin h...ospital along with her brother, Brad Murdock and a family friend, Trey Harper.

          • Marisa Onsurez It's awesome how God sets the scene for us. I'm a new believer, and last week I read the story of Joesph to my 6 year old. And right before service I began talking to a woman that was in service alone, just like myself. She began talking about the book of Psalms... And my whole week was summed up in service of Sunday. Everything is as it should be... What a powerful message.!
