Stop The Murrieta Power Plant Update: It's been nearly two weeks since I attended the Nov. 12 Riverside County hearing on Airport Land Use. Troy Childs presented a factual and compelling presentation on airport safety and documented incidents involving power plant exhaust plumes and aircraft. Ahhh! There's the question that needs no answer! This is a money grab pure and simple. An investor paid $1.7M for the land just before news got out that a power plant was proposed by "French Valley Energy Partners" who bought an option to purchase at $3.8M. Convenient, huh? Follow the money. Several parties want to cash in fast and don't want any riff-raff impeding things.

See Morelines are going to be going to from single to double circuit and we are bringing in 500kv lines from the desert and updating city lines. the funny thing is there is a power plant in hemet. so this is all bull shit there is plenty of desert and space away from homes. so there is a time a place where to put these peakers. this doesn't fix things it's alot bigger then this. when your neighborhood lights go out at night it's because lines around homes need to be updated. and peakers have nothing to do with this it's a hoax.

These meetings are very important to our success, and everyone if possible should try and make it. We have to make Fickett and his plans of numerous power stacks go away. Ri...ght now he says he is only planning one small plant which he contends is no big deal but once it's in place then guess what? He will add more and more until there are at least 8 stacks!
