The dust's settled, overdrafts delved into and arguments about who's best are over. Ahh, Edinburgh, I love the smell of desperation in the morning. Well Congrats to the if.comedy nominees, you all did smashingly well, superb mega congrats go to David O'Doherty and Mike Wozniak overall winner and best newcomer respectiv...ely. I hate to self congratulate, but what the heck, congrats to me for being Awarded the "Spirit of the Fringe" 2008 award. There is a small problem with this though, as the "Spirit of the Fringe" award goes to an indivuduals or group who have embodied the spiriti of the Edinburgh Festival (does what it says on the tin kind oif thing). However in a rare act of generosity thejudging panel deemed all the comedians who performed at the festival to have shown that spirit and awarded it to us all. So, great as the accolade is it's slightly watered down by the few thousand other individuals who won it too. It's like winning the lottery the day everyone else does too!Read More
