Students for a Majority Vote

We are a student group dedicated to repealing California's 2/3's budget vote rule, ending the rule of the few, giving a voice back to Californians, and winning back a simple majority vote so we can bring much needed change to California. California's economic crisis is owed in large part to a disgustingly undemocratic budget making process that forces families to accept IOU's and go without healthcare, and students to pay higher tuition and receive less financial aid. It's time we stop the gridlock and dysfunctional government and make the budget process work for Californians again.
