The Old Cannery Furniture Warehouse Santa and his elves will be visiting The Old Cannery this Holiday Season and hopes you all get a chance to come down and visit with him. He will be available for you and your children from 11am to 4pm on the weekends Nov. 28-29 Dec 5-6, Dec 12-13, Dec 19-20. The Old Cannery Furniture Warehouse Bridge Lighting November 27th. YOU ARE ALL INVITED! Come early and enjoy some cider and roasted nuts and listen to the Christmas music on the bridge and the choir singing Christmas carols. Lights are turned on at 5:00pm and fireworks show immediately follows the lighting. After the fireworks you are invited down to Th...e Windmill Gardens for the lighting of the windmill and festivities there. Some transportation will be available to the Windmill Gardens via our double decker bus.

A quarter century ago Tony, Mabeth and Sherry Grout made a dream come true when they purchased a historic fruit and vegetable cannery building that had seen better days and began renovating it to create what is today one of the largest and most recoginized furniture stores in the NW. They had a simp...le philosophy back then "Provide the best quality furniture they could find and sell it at prices that no one else was willing to match and make the experience fun". A lot of furniture stores have come and gone over the past quarter century but one thing still stands true. This is the second year The Old Cannery has been involved in "Pinking the Bridge" to help create awareness and support for this noble cause.

We are Pinking the Bridge for tomorrow mornings 5K "Come Walk With Me!" to benefit Breast Health Programs at Good Samaritan Hospital. Registration opens at 8:00am and the Walk begins at 9am. Prizes, raffle, breakfast and closing program to follow.
$15.00 registration fee or $20.00 registration (includes a t-shirt.)

The Old Cannery Furniture Warehouse is Hosting the Ascension Threatre Production of "Forever Plaid". Performances are scheduled for Friday October 9, 7pm...Saturday October 10, 6pm...Friday October 16, 7pm and the last performance is Saturday October 17, 6pm. All performances at The Old Cannery in Sumner. Tickets are $10.00 for Adults and $6.00 or Senior...s and Students. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by calling 253-447-4139. Forever Plaid is a program of beloved songs and delightful patter that keeps audiences rolling in the aisles when they are not humming to the songs of the great nostalgic pop hits of the 50's. Seating is limited so get your tickets early.
