About Us:
We have approximately 100 sites. All sites have water, electric, and sewer hook-ups. Each has a poured concrete patio and many have a concrete slab for conveniently parking your RV on as well. All of our roads are also paved. Many of our sites can accommodate 40 feet long recreational vehicles, even with slide-outs. We open for the season on April 15 and close each year on October 15. If you don't have a camping trailer or RV, we also have a rustic cabin available for reservation. The air conditioned cabin, features a half bath and can sleep up to 6 people.
Our campground is located on Packer Island, on beautiful Lake Augusta (the Susquehanna River). The 3,000 acre lake is formed by the Susquehanna River, in conjunction with the inflation of the Adam T. Bower Memorial Dam each summer. At 2,100 feet long, it is the world's largest inflatable dam. The lake averages 7-8 feet in depth. It is a popular area for water recreation, including boating, fishing, and swimming.
We are located directly across from the beautiful Shikellamy State Park and only a very short ride from the astrounding views from the Shikellamy Overlook. We are also just a short drive from America's largest FREE admission amusement park, Knoebel's Amusement Resort. Nearby are several area universities, as well as several shopping centers, local antique stores, flea markets, fine restaurants, and more.

Fantasy Island Campground Well... the 2009 season has come to a close. It's sad to see it end but it certainly was a fun year! Thank you to everybody for making it such a great season! We're working on the 2010 schedule and based on what we have already, it's going to be an even bigger and better season! Looking forward to it! Hope everybody has a safe and great winter. See you all again in 2010!

Fantasy Island Campground They're creepy and they're kooky, mysterious and spooky. They're all together ookie... Fantasy Island Campground campers! It was Halloween weekend at FIC! As always, a weekend full of lots of fun and surprises. Everybody had some great costumes. You never know who... or what will show up on Halloween weekend!
Fantasy Island Campground Fall was in the air at FIC this weekend with "Fall Festival Weekend." We started off Saturday making delicious caramel apples, a great fall treat. Then it was time to sample chili at the chili cook-off. We rounded out the evening with fun, night time "glow-in-the-dark" wagon rides.
Fantasy Island Campground Labor Day weekend has come and gone already. Which means summer is officially over. Where does the time go? So we had to have one last hoorah of summer fun and go out with a bang! And that we did. With everything from a Pig Roast to "Deuce" once again rocking the campground. It certainly was a great weekend!
Fantasy Island Campground I scream, you scream, we all scream... for the rain to go away!!! It might've been a little soggy but we still got to have some fun in between the rain showers. With an Ice Cream and Cake Social and some music and dancing. Sounds like the perfect weekend.
Fantasy Island Campground *NOTICE* There is a change in the entertainment for Sunday, Sept. 6. Deuce will be back to rock Fantasy Island Campground once again! That's right, it's the return of the campground's favorite band. So tell your friends, tell your neighbors, tell your friend's neighbors! They're set to perform Sunday, Sept. 6th at 7:30 PM! Don't miss 'em!
Fantasy Island Campground You've gotta know when to hold 'em and know when to fold 'em! "Las Vegas Weekend" was another great weekend, as usual! Everybody had fun in the 2nd annual Poker Run-Walk and the Casino Night was a blast. We rounded out the weekend with entertainer Warren Dane!

The pictures from Aug. 14-16 have finally been posted. (There was a little glitch.) Don't forget this weekend, Aug. 21-23 is "Las Vegas Weekend." Our originally scheduled entertainer, Elvis Impersonator "Roy Propes" has cancelled for the 2nd year in a row. So in his place we have returning, country singer "Warren Da...ne." Hopefully next year we can get a reliable Elvis Impersonator to perform! 3rd times a charm!Read More
Fantasy Island Campground It was "Beach Party Weekend" ...If only the weather would've felt more like beach weather! But we certainly weren't going to let the rain ruin our fun! The Luau Party was great, even with the "tropical drizzle" and our Moonlight Pool Party was an even bigger splash!!! (No pun intended!)
Fantasy Island Campground Since there were enough pictures from this weekend I gave them their own page. "Fantasy Idol Weekend" saw lots of singers, lots of talent, and most importantly lots of fun!
