For those of you waiting for us to come and till your garden: Sorry, our roto-tiller is still in the shop getting a complete carburetor rebuild. Should be done by November, they say.
We’re... playing at BarNone in Kingston this coming Saturday, the 23rd. We’re on the bill with The Cunninghams from Toronto, and another band that I can’t tell you at the moment… because I don’t know who it is. But when I know, you’ll know. I also don’t know when we’ll be playing, but things at BarNone tend to start at 9pm, and last until the wee hours.
For those wondering where it is, BarNone is the former Smijies, in the plaza behind the Burger King at Princess and Division Sts.
And Yes, I realize that The Hip and the Trews are playing the KRC that evening, but you will be coming to this show.
At least if my internet course on “Online Hypnotism” was worth the $29.95, you will.

Superhero Smith A concert/fish fry/ silent auction to benefit the "On the Water's Edge" Juried Art Exhibit scheduled for Oct. Market St. will be closed off for the evening. There will be delicious fish, tasty music, and plenty of silent auction items to bid on. Superhero Smith will be providing a couple hours of music for the event (a...nd the rest of that area of town...) Tickets are $15/person or $25/two, and avail. from Cracker Crumbs, Synergy Massage Therapy, or the Thousand Islands Playhouse.

Superhero Smith The 9th annual Music on the Mountain festival will be on Sept. 7th, at the beautiful Lake on the Mountain resort in beautiful Prince Edward County. There will be music from 1-6:30pm, with us (Superhero Smith) going on from 5-5:30. Bring a lawnchair or a blanket, and enjoy an afternoon of great music on the lawn. Cash ...Bar and BBQ, all Proceeds go to spinal cord research.
I forgot to add the best part... We played at Diggy's this past monday, and around about 12:15, the lady who runs the bed & breakfast next door, came over in her housecoat and slippers to ask us to close the doors (which were open for no apparent reason...), as her guests couldn't sleep...

Superhero Smith Thanks to everyone who came out to either, or both shows on Friday night. We did, indeed, rock Gananoque, in my own not-so-humble opinion... And because the show at Diggy's went so well, we're gonna do it again this thursday night, Aug. 14th.
Superhero Smith The A-channel Ottawa Morning Show will be broadcasting from the Festival of the Islands grounds, and we're the musical guests. We'll be playing a song, get interviewed, and play them in and out of commercial for the entire morning show! Tune in, or come down and join the early morning crowd!
Finally, a reason to get up at 6am!
