Totally pointless as long as the Governments of China, Thailand and North Korea prop up the military rulers and continue to trade. Opium/heroin, teak wood, gem stones and oil/gas exploration are making these parasites incredibly wealthy so when the time comes they can scuttle off to some lavish life in the sun while the people of Burma suffer. The ... Read Moreworst thing is they will continue to suffer for many years to come even if democracy prevails. And as for democracy, lets just hope its not the US version of democracy. Song for Aung San Suu Kyi
See the river running
Through the heart of a golden land
I can see the river changing
Just dont understand.
Lifeblood of a nation
Now the river is flowing red
Water is running tears
In the river of the dead.
Like a river, your spirit flows
Like a river, your courage grows
Like a river, you are strong
Like a river, you stand alone.
Dying for peace and freedom
Dying for a dream
Blood washed from city walls
Flowing in the stream.
With every drop that's flowing
With every tear that's shed
Current of resistance grows
In the river of the dead.

Boycott China and these companies products: Toyota, Daewoo, Suziki, Mitsubishi, Lloyds of London, Qantas, Jet Star, Lonely Planet, Random House etc. They are responsible for backing the junta. The only way to boycott successfully, is to strike where the wallet is. Follow the money. If we stop consuming their products, they will listen. We must all help to bring Burma freedom by laying siege to these companies products.
