Susan G. Komen for the Cure-Central Valley Race participants: Komen Central Valley is sponsoring our 1st "Most Inspiring Video--Why We Walk Contest". The contest is a project for Fresno State students. They will be working as a team to capture video while roving the Race site. All will have special lanyards indentifying themselves. MONROE, Ohio (AP) - A husband and wife are both undergoing treatment for breast cancer in a case that illustrates how the disease can strike both sexes. Mike and Barbara Welsh, of Monroe, in southwestern Ohio, each had surgery this year after separate discoveries that they had breast cancer.

We were able to promote awareness and Komen Central Valley Race for the Cure. Throroughly enjoyed the music, fresh air and interacting with Clovis/Fresno peeps! Today's Annual Celebration of Life Survivor Luncheon was a
great success! TorNino’s was transformed from a banquet hall into a sea
of Komen pink. Dark pink and light pink adorned the table dressings with
beautiful pink flower arrangements. I recognized the faces of many
survivor sisters and was delighted to see many newcomers.

support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, players will be
wearing hot pink gear starting Sunday: gloves, sweatbands, towels. And
cleats. At least 100 players are expected to wear pink shoes.
