For every woman fitted at a Fit for the Cure® event in Wacoal or b.tempt’d, Wacoal will donate $2 to Komen for the Cure. No purchase is necessary. A specialist will provide a private consultation a...nd also be on hand to help women make their selections. In addition to the fitting, women will be given information on early detection techniques and a guide to performing a breast self-exam. The benefits are twofold: getting properly fitted and helping a worthy cause.
Furthering their commitment, Wacoal offers the “Wacoal Promise”, providing every woman who signs up at one of Wacoal’s Fit for the Cure® events with a complimentary email reminder to conduct a monthly breast self-exam.
Wacoal will also make a $2 donation to Komen for every Wacoal or b.tempt’d bra or Wacoal shape wear item purchased at a Fit for the Cure® event. Wacoal will make a minimum guaranteed donation of $250,000.Read More

The University of Nevada, Reno is not only the site of the October 4 Race for the Cure, it is supporting breast cancer awareness in a very big way in the weeks prior to the Race by dedicating to the cause the nationally televised Nevada-Missouri game on September 25.
From the moment Wolf Pack fans enter Mackay Stadium,... they will know it’s a pink as well as a silver and blue day beginning with welcoming stations at entrances with Komen volunteers offering Race materials, pink boas and pink football jerseys.
Spectators will view a moving game-opening sight: the Wolf Pack entering the field through a human tunnel of pink-clad survivors. Komen and breast cancer education messages will be highlighted in stadium announcements throughout the game.
Game sponsor and longtime Komen grantee Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center is donating rally towels featuring the Komen logo.
