Let's hope our laws can someday change and allow women to take action without penalty to prevent the death of more children from such monsters. Whether that action is taking the children into hiding to protect them or having to murder the dangerous predator to put and end to his madness and save others in the process, if the problem is eliminated ... See Morethere will be less crime. These guys are put in jail numerous times and slapped on the wrist only to return and kill their victims or other people at random. The laws make no sense at all. I bet there are many women unfairly imprisoned for killing a husband or boyfriend after knowing they had to or else he would have killed them anyway. I am convinced Sociopaths have created many of our laws and people need to become aware!

Many of us should hope, we don't end up facing the same tragedy this young woman did!

The jury system Sucks!
I just found out that the man who viciously attacked and stalked me and many others years back, the system, kept letting him out after many many arrests and jury trials, kept getting acquited, for Domestic Violence against cohabitants and family members before me and after me, is now in custody for more DV charges, he has a long history ofcrack cocaine and alcohol abuse etc,., and has escalated his violence and is scheduled for a hearing Re: International Human Trafficking involving extreme violence, violating restraining orders etc.,.

When will our system understand these people escalate into darker activities over time, when I knew him 11 years ago, to my knowlege he did not do stuff like that (just the violence and odd behavior, but who knows what other dark secrets he kept hidden), and his next victim told me stuff that sounded like he was getting much much worse and extremely scary, her stories were intensified 100 times worse than what I thought happened to me with him, it really sounded like he was loosing anything potentially human about him more and more as time goes on about 3 years ago, and now in 2009, he is into violent human trafficking, OMG!.

Let this be a lesson to the world that once a man beats, bites and strangles a woman once, he should never be released into the population again! I feel more scared now than I did back then, or perhaps I am just getting a bad feeling all over again. For some reason, after not thinking of him for quite some time, he has been on my mind a lot lately. And I have had a real anxious feeling too. Funny thing is , in the past five years, I would tell myself to be careful, because he might have people help him kidnap me or something, it was always a little thought, in the corner of my mind, I decided to do some investigating online to see if his name would pop up anywhere, because I always have this thought that I will see his name in news headlines for murder some day, suddenly, it's always on my mind!

Now, according to what I found via a sherrifs dept. link for his jail status, it shows "IN CUSTODY" with 3 charges listed, and when I saw human trafficking on the list that really blew me away, our instincts can be a wonderful thing, I am so glad he is in custody, and I hope this does not turn out to be another ritual for him where he just gets another slap on the wrist like he has over the last probably 20 years, I am guessing since I met him 11 years ago (and have not seen him personally since), and found out after the fact he had prior arrests, abuse and criminal activity.

This is proof that our system cannot be trusted and needs to change! I almost lost my life back then, and so have others, he may have even killed a girl, but got away with it, based on strange things he used to say to me, I always wonder who the girl is, that he told me his brother would constantly remind him about, stating, "you remeber what you did to that girl don't you?," as if he was hinting to something I really did not want to know about. What is it going to take to get rid of these men for good and deny them the freedom or life to go on like this?

Thank goodness for the internet and blogs, because perhaps, with everyone sharing information about what goes on, perhaps our system in time will gain enough knowledge to see the pattern sooner, rather than later and lives will be spared and saved from damage and death. This man I once knew is very very dangerous, and his brother is as well (I never met him), I googled his brothers name, and found out he was sent to prison for inflicting serious corporal injury on his wife, telling her he would call her by a "special name" when he was ready to kill her, then beat her unconscious, she woke up the next day in excruciating physical pain, and her 7 year old said, "daddy did this to you mommy," when she woke up, not remembering what had happened the next day.

Sociopathy/psychopathy is a genetic problem, and our system needs to recognize this is a genetic trait that many humans carry, which can be mixed in with schizotypal bahavior, grandiose thoughts combined with dangerous outbursts of rage and insanity, covertly cold actions, lack of conscience and empathy, guilt or shame.

At least from what I know, they kept his brother locked up and seemed to understand the severity of his condition. I only wish there could be a way to get this entire history to my attackers current prosecutors without my name surfacing in any way.

I really wish I could disguise myself or have someone else go to the next court hearing on Nov. 30 2009 to find out of if the ex - monster in my past is going to get another slap on the wrist. I hope this human trafficking thing finally sinks him into the tank for the rest of his life! What I mean by that is hopefully he will not survive in prison and perish before his parole date, so that he cannot get out and hurt women and children (and men too as I witnessed him strangle a man in front of me once over money), resulting in murders which could have been prevented, I am living testimony to what the monster can do. I just can't help this feeling that he is going kill someone, it's only a matter of time. I wish I could go to that hearing but I don't want to be on his mind, I don't want him to see me there, as I made it very clear to the last DA that contacted me and his new lovers trying to protect him from other charges from a girlfriend after me, to LEAVE ME ALONE, and make sure he never sends me another letting from jail again asking me not to testify against him for others!

I am really hoping he finally goes down for a long time after this, I have seen they system do nothing more than give him free room and board at Sant Rita jail, Hmmm, must be a seasonal thing for him, to take a break during the cold season or somthing, that place is nothing but his primar home, with occasional vacations into the outside world, to terrorize and traumatize everyone he meets and gets close too. He can be very dramatic, and play the victim so well, to the point that he seems to have a false soft side. It's because of him, that I learned the truth about what a game the courts and legal system are, because he knows how to play it and he does it extremely well, after he's been a master at it for more than 15 years, I would not doubt it, if he gets out and walks again very soon!

I watched a movie on the child/woman and some male sex slave trade and some of the victims report that the officers can at times be involved too.. Very sad:( We live in a scary world!

I need this book. Thanks for posting this. I ordered this one plus "The Complete Idiot's Guide to the Criminal Justice System." I didn't know she wrote this book either. I need to learn more about the inner workings of the Justice System and how to accomplish my goals - through all the red tape. Education is Power. Thanks Susan!
