My favorite LGBT movie is BOUND. Because the filmmakers came to me and told me they were inspired by me to make it. Because they asked me to be their sex

It's a long struggle, and while we don't win every battle, we're making steady progress. Main legalized pot by 3-to-2, a serious margin.
Yes the loss sucks, but you can't win 'em all . . .

Here's the story from the Maine daily paper... you might be interested in the comments for the local flavor. One interesting part to me was the comment that French-Canadians, who already have "equality in marriage" laws come to visit and work in Maine all t...he time-- family ties are strong as well-- and no one seems to notice that Quebec has been brought to its knees or faced God's wrath. In fact, gay Quebecois tourism is really big in Maine...Read More

The vote was a stinging setback for the national gay-rights movement. Maine voters also decided to expand the state’s 10-year-old medical marijuana law.

@ Daniel, not the real America, the terrified, backward looking, control freak aspect of our culture. Not real at all.

An Alligator Ate My Leaf Lard!

I woke up screaming from this nightmare at 5AM:

Someone put a baby alligator in my house. I was afraid of it. It was quickly becoming full-size because it attacked and ate my pets-- their body parts were strewn everywhere. It went berserk in my sewing room and broke open the jar of special ...leaf lard (that I made my apple pie with) and was midway thru the whole thing, broken glass and all. I was distraught. I'm surrounded by animal parts and running fat and fur and meanwhile my daughter was oblivious. She was in the next room calling boys and pretending her name was "Rosie Henderson" because she thinks a name change would be a good dating tip. It all got too real b/c even after I opened my eyes I was scared to leave the bed and put my feet on the floor because the alligator might bite my foot off!Read More
