In 2004, she joined Anderson, a multi-instrumentalist who co-founded the Celtic fusion group Whirligig. Anderson is a guitarist with the Eileen Ivers Band and has performed and recorded with several international artists.

Sara is an award-winning fiddler, singer, and tunesmith who has been performing various roots, bluegrass, Celtic, and Appalachian music since she was 4 years old.
