Swedish Covenant Hospital Alderman Gene Schulter of Chicago's 47th Ward visited the Galter LifeCenter to donate mobility equipment on Monday, October 5. From left: Mark Esper, Claudia Ann Morehead, Nora Sullivan, Joanne Harrison and Richard Cunningham, all of Rehabilitation Services, met with Alderman Schulter at GLC when he arrived to donate crutches to the SCH-sponsored mobility equipment drive.
Swedish Covenant Hospital During October, in celebration of physical therapy month, Rehabilitation Services will collect mobility equipment (gently-used walkers, canes, crutches and wheelchairs) and distribute them to organizations, including White Crane and Little Brothers of the Elderly. Please drop off items at: Swedish Covenant Hospital Rehabilitation Services, 5157 N. Francisco Ave, Chicago, IL 60625. Open Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

An infectious disease physician, ER physician and pediatrician shared important preventative measures as well as where to find up-to-date information so they can make the best decisions about handling H1N1 in their schools.
