Sylvain Henry I am looking for sustainability ideas to present at the YAS-2009 (Youth And Sustainability) event in Gatineau, Quebec on Dec. 13 If you have one (or some) please post them below. Thanks for your creative contribution.
Sylvain Henry Shamefully for us, our solutions are known by every elementary school boy or school girl. We still have enough money and time to make a positive difference. The first step is getting the media to hear us and sees us. This, thankfully, is now happening and the media that listens to us will have our ears, our eyes, our hearts.
Sylvain Henry We want them to spend our money to prevent the beginings of war, to prevent the beginings of unemployment, to prevent the beginings of pandemics, to prevent the beginings of climatic catastrophies. Their solutions are no longer affordable, the whole world is going broke. Our simple solutions are affordable and they are at hand.
Sylvain Henry Now they make us fear for our safety with pending global distasters caused by global warming. With the trillions of tax dollars they take from us, they are fueling our fears not calming them. They have not solved anything with all the fear fueled funds we gave them so far.
Sylvain Henry Governments are fast losing their credibility because they have cried wolf a few times too many. They made us fear for our security by giving us false motives for war (Bay of Tomkin lie for the Vietnam war, weapons of mass destruction lie for the Iraq war...). They make us fear for our health by threatening global pandemics (Mad Cow disease, Avian Flu, Swine flu...).

Sylvain Henry is helping a group of children create their own Peace and Prosperity event in Gatineau at an english elementary school. There is strong community support. I hope the event will attract some special guests for the kids.
Sylvain Henry Step 2: Is not working as planned unfortunately. We have emailed countless letters to editors of several newspapers suggesting a simple action they could take to help attract employment, but no editor has decided to publish our letter yet. I want to thank many of you for trying. It had no immediate effect. We have to improve our thinking.
