Students were sent out today to many different work sites. Many great things were accomplished! They painted, washed windows, cleaned up piles of debris, shingled roofs… you name it! Work began this morning at 8:15. Lunch time came at noon on site with sack lunches, followed by some group time. ...

This is a video for the opening night of the Rise on the Road in Parkersburg Iowa 2009. This shows the damage and destruction of the tornado that demolished Parkersburg in 2008.
-Many of the sites depend on donations and are always looking for more. It is our hope that we can gather many donations for these sites and come on the morning of the work day with arms full for these people...

Who Can Go: Rise on the Road and H.I.S. Work Camp welcome stu...dents entering ninth grade through graduating seniors. Individuals 20 years or older are encouraged to apply as adult leaders. Adult/Student ratio for Rise On The Road and HIS Work camp is 1/6.
Cost: covers meals, lodging, all sessions, supplies, materials, T-shirt and the ending concert.
Registration: Opens: February 2, 2009 Closes: When an event is full or 2 weeks before the event
Payment Information: Full payment must accompany this registration form. If not, your registration will be considered incomplete and will not be processed until we receive payment in full.
Cancellations: RISE Ministries will issue a full refund of your registration fee if a cancellation request is made more than one month before the Rise on the Road and H.I.S. Work Camp event that you are participating in. RISE Ministries will issue a refund equal to half of your registration fee if a cancellation request is made 2-4 weeks before the Rise on the Road event that you are participating in. There will be no refund for a cancellation request within the 2 weeks prior to the Rise on the Road and H.I.S. Work Camp event that you are participating in.
