One specific memory that will warm my heart till it no longer beats... my son was 6...one particularily cold morning he crawled into bed with me asking to snuggle. As we lay in the silence his sweet voice said "mama..you know how I know how much you love me?" I smiled a sleepy smile and said "how pup?" and he said "because when I put my cold feet on you, you don't move away." ♥

My best friend of 38 years goes out and gets donations of socks, blankets, sleepingbags etc. for the homeless. She does this so unselfishly. She thinks about them especially at night when we are tucked nice and warm in our houses and they are out in the elliments.She is such a great person and gives from the heart.

One of my all time favorite things in my kitchen is my collection of aprons. Yup, aprons. I have quite a selection from half aprons to full aprons and use them all. Besides the sensible, logical aspects of an apron like -- keeping your clothes clean and having a socially acceptable place to wipe your damp... hands … they’re cute. Darn cute.

But they started out at 1lb 5ozs and 1lb 9 ozs and 12 and 13 inches long.. they are over 20 lbs now and doing so well! They had to have multiple sur...geries , Matthew had heart problems and ... Read MoreJohnathan had to have a temporary colostomy. Both boys had eye surgeries. And Matthew just had surgery for a hernia and did very well! We were told they didn't have much chance to survive but we still have them and are so thankful for them. and also for their big brother Robby. We are so proud and happy to have these blessings in our lives!

My son is just starting to read. Never mind that he’s 13 years old, I couldn’t be prouder that he’s finally taken an interest in the idea of reading a book at all. His autism has seriously hampered his ability to digest words, since language processing plays a big part when you’re trying... to read. It takes him longer than the average bear to get through one sentence at a time...
