TAKE Dance Company
Combing influences based on my years of dancing in companies as diverse as Paul Taylor, Kazuko Hirabayashi Dance Theatre, Wil Swanson (former Trisha Brown Member) and my present affiliation as Assistant Director for TAKE Dance, this is a professional level modern technique class, which strengthens the body, creates a m...ore agile, articulate, defined, grounded musculature and a deeper understanding and application of the power the body has to communicate ideas and emotions that reflect the human condition. We work with musicality and spacial awareness. We explore the power of gesture, focus and breath and build stamina through rigorous combinations across the floor.
Through humor, intense physical work and a broad range of music, this class is a great way to challenge and explore your technique and artistry.
Jill Echo's Technique Class continues through November.
Beginning Thursday November 12th classes move to
PMT Dance Studio
69 West 14th Street
