Alison Henley Hi TJX, I am a junior at Wake Forest University pursuing a Business and Enterprise Management major with a Marketing concentration. I am interested in your Corporate Merchandise Internship Program for this upcoming summer, but I saw that the online application is no longer available. Great question, although TJX is open to all attendee's if it is a general event, in this case it would be dependent on BU's policies since you are not a current BU student. For entry level jobs, have your ultimate goal in mind of where you want to get. You may have to start off more entry but the end result if you keep your focus can be well worth it, such as our career path starting as an Analyst to become a Buyer.

Erin Kirkpatrick

Erin Kirkpatrick Hi! I was curious if someone could give me any advice for the CMTP program? I am a year away from receiving my B.S. in business and I was wondering from now until then, is there anything I can do to better my chances of becoming a possible candidate for the CMTP program? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much!!

It is a very competitive program, we recommend: meaningful internship experiences; leadership involvement regardless of your title within a job or student organization; analytical/#'s experience through projects/work; demonstrated ability to multi-task - be involved in more than just classes; these are a few things that will help.

I recommend carefully reviewing all the information available on the CMTP to understand it as best you can. Then, based on the information assess your skills and experiences that are most relevant/transferable and be prepared to give examples (i.e. analytical skills).
