TNR: Trap Neuter Return Best Friends Animal Network has kindly agreed to help us spread the word about this on their website! What brilliant people. Please send links to anyone you know who even just MIGHT be interested - you never know who will help, and every struggling rescue that gets to hear about it could benefit. Thanks all - you're brilliant! :)

Finally the TNR Template is 'out there'....! I was delighted to be able to launch it at ICAWC - and even more delighted by the response. I really hope everyone at ICAWC who listened to my presentation tells as many people about it as possible. This is a totally free resource that anyone can use, that could change the lives of dogs across the world - if only people get to hear about it.
So please please... shout it from the rooftops!

TNR: Trap Neuter Return We're well into our first day at ICAWC, the international conference at which a detailed presentation on the template will be given by Carolyn Menteith. I hope to be able to live blog it here: http://icawc.blogspot.com. If you're interested, please do stop by, read, make comments and spread the word! :)

Hi Elena,
Thanks for your message. All we are providing here is a template for the scheme based on our experiences- the running of the programme is dependent on the country, the scale of the problem and the funds available.
The vets in the country you are working within will be the ones to determine the aftercare, too.
Thanks again!

Hi Bethany,
Thanks for your support! In terms of the pros and cons, you can read about the programmes we ran over 5 years in Oradea: http://www.dogstrust.org.uk/wayswehelp/i nternational/romania/
During that time, there seemed to be few problems with integration. We certainly aim to refine the template over time. It's good to have a discussion!
