Dave Lake Wow!!! What a great show and right in my backward. Anyone who loves country rock, bluegrass, gospel or the blues really missed a great event. Each performer built on on another to come to the terrific climax of Donna Hopkins & Bobby Lee Rodgers who kept playing and playing loving the venue and loving the audience. ...I am so looking forward to the 2nd annual Tybee Island Americana Music Festival.

TYBEE ISLAND AMERICANA MUSIC FESTIVAL It's feeling goooood on Tybee Island! We've already run into some folks who came down from the ATL (don't know them either ;-)). It's going to be A LOT of fun tomorrow. If you get the urge, GO! ADV tix are available through tonight at 11:59PM and a locals only special at Hucapoo's on the island from 3-5pm!

Tybee Bht Initiative We cannot wait for this fabulous music festival to come to the Island! The fact that proceeds go to help The Post Theater is wonderful! We want to see the theater alive again and working together to make that happen is what it takes. Thanks!

Joni This is my favorite island and lighthouse ever! This is great and will help. Wish this could have been done years ago. I even named my cat "Tybee". Love it. I'm out in Oregon so I can't make it, but my heart will be there!
Sarah Thomas - did you happen to catch Charlotte Kendrick (with her husband, Dan Rowe) on Sunday at DOTF 3 in '06, right after the Boys & Girls Club Gospel Choir? She's Americana... they are up in NY (upstate I think)... she's got a BEAUTIFUL high and lonesome... singer songwriter couple... the crowd loved them. Such nice fo...lks. And of course we have our own ATL/Nashville/South Cackalacky boy, Brian Ashley Jones, w/ Trisha! :) Looks like a neat festy! Break a leg, my friend! :) I'm rootin' for ya, always. xo
