The goal of the Sales Promoter is to help both the retailer and the Company maximize sales and increase sales volume. Thus in this role you will be expected to:
• Promote through sales talk, sampling and merchandise the product to customers in order to raise their awarenesss and interest leading them to buy the promoted product;
• Hold this activity at various outlets throughout the island, normally during Fridays and Saturdays during shopping hours.
• Ensuring that a proper level of stock of the promoted items is maintained and that the merchandise is displayed appropriately with proper point of sale signage and considerable shelf placement. This includes setup, with the appropriate promotional stands/material supplied and the preparation of food tasting samples when required;
• Be responsible to complete self audits of consumer contacts, consumer comments and sales.

The selected candidate is expected to have a pleasant outgoing character and able to communicate clearly. Experience in a similar line of work would be of an asset though not compulsory as training will be given.
