OK, thanks. As far as how to split up the space... Let me put into context how important the kids area is. There are tons of parents who split responsibilities watching their children while the other goes off and skis. Historically, the kids area would only get significantly crowded on popular weekend days, which was understandable. Last year ... Read Morewhen the restaurant went in, it was always crowded on weekends, and crowded many weekdays. It was clear that there was not enough room. For those of us with toddlers, we desperately need a place to pen our youngest ones in as it is simply too freaking stressful to watch young ones in the main lodge.

In my experience, the various parents have valued Alpine greatly for the kids area, and last year that value got called into question. Also, parents tend to order lots of food, and drink a decent amount of beverages. As it is, we are all trying to relax, and kids are not the most relaxing. :)

To my knowledge, Alpine has stood out for being kid friendly, and there are many of us who would love to see it stay that way, especially as we turn our kids into future Alpine ski and snowboard bums. :)

Yes, Its was..Eventhough I am now in NC..It was Awesome here as well...
